As the sole survivor of Vault 111, you enter a world destroyed by nuclear war. Every second is a fight for survival, and every choice is yours. Only you can rebuild and determine the fate of the Wasteland. Welcome home.
Watching this on the Bethesda twitch channel and then watching this again here on Moddb, I can't get over how awesome this game looks.
This game is gonna be awesome and fun!
It ll be another brilliant RPG in the decade.
Doesn't look like a mod-friendly game and some designs limit the expansivity of the game, both official and unnoficial, but on its own, it looks like a very solid experience.
Definitely will be picking this up.
Fallout 4 will support mods & on consoles also (still the creation engine so that makes sense), but id expect some mods to be paid, with the recent attempt by Bethesda to bring paid mods to the scene.
Sounds cool, although I really am wondering what will be moddable.
*The new voiced dialog system will make adding more quests/companion interactions/npc conversation nigh impossible.
*The new weapon crafting system makes weapons consist of parts that have questionable expandability on how will modder be able to add more parts/gun types.
*Base construction systems seem to be strictly based on one style (withered wasteland shack), meaning adding more styles, more building module types and such not so easy.
*Loot and crafting is now completely revolving around certain resource types that are present in random misc items, meaning deviating from that or adding to that, be it complexity or more variation seems rather difficult short of an overhaul, if that is even an option.
*Who knows how strictly hardcoded the weather, camera, needs, stats and quest/metagame are.
I am confident that the vanilla core game will be excellent, but not sure how a modder would be to expand that in any meaningful (non-skin/retexture) way.
