FINALLY UPLOADED. WOW, 20 MINUTE MOVIES TAKES A LONG TIME TO BE UPLOADED.
*ahem* I uploaded this, so to bring attention to this, a "proof of concept".

these guys need donations to try to make a documentary on Mojang. so please, do anything you can!

also, if you're reading this and it isn't up there, be patient! I've uploaded it, but it still needs resizing to ModDB standards, converting formats etc etc. but it will be up soon!

Yeah .......

It's really too bad that Mojang themselves, or just Marcus alone, have absolutely no money and could in no possible way sponsor a thing like this.

Naturally, this is not sarcasm whatsoever.

hey, they are working on a project. they aren't going to spend extra money just to document it. these guys are, and I'd imagine they'd do it for free. but they want to fund it for food, living etc. etc.

Mojang are not related to this at all. they probably welcome it. but they probably don't want to spend money on something they'd see as minor.

I am well aware that Mojang are not the ones *doing* it .. However, you'd think they'd be the first to support someone that showed this kind of interest in them.

well, yes. however, do they really want to throw money at a video diary, costing that much? Probably not.
also, I think I have a reason for the high amount. how about repaying a few people for losing a year of their life documenting a company? I mean, do you really think they want to go away empty-handed?

150,000$ to film a freaking hour long documentary on an indie developer that would (and has) do the interviews for free is absolutely absurd.

Plane tickets for let's say 6 people, both ways? 2000 TOPS, hotel for 2 weeks like 500$, they already have cameras, what the hell is this?

I wouldn't donate to this.

For example, "Super-size me", one of better known documentaries of the past few years, cost 65,000$ to make, and that's like Hollywood-quality, team of 50+ people. Look it up on Wikipedia.
