The ship editor has received some attention in the latest builds with a greatly improved input controls and productivity features as well as the usual run of bug fixes.
We have not released a new demo on IndieDB just yet as we are nearing the start of Early Access (yep you heard it here first ;) ) the demo version will receive an update as the EA starts as a limited (reduced functionality) version while the EA will of course be the full game as it stands at that time.
