History
When we first received the Oculus DK1 from the Kickstarter, we knew immediately that we wanted to make a high-speed sci-fi racing game that placed the player within the cockpit of an AG race craft. Coming from a background of racing games (Extreme G, Pure, Split Second) our Game Designer Geoff set about creating a meaningful world to race within, alongside our Game Artist Michalis who crafted the dark, sci-fi scenes that Game Developer Dave had to ensure performed at the now required 90Hz.
After a Kickstarter and Steam Greenlight period, the game launched on Steam Early Access before full launch on Steam and Oculus Store in March 2016 alongside the consumer versions of Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.
After a chance meeting with Shuhei Yoshida, President of Sony Studios Worldwide, the game is now having the finishing touches and release submission reviews completed ready for a global launch on Sony PlayStation VR in early 2017
