After learning a bit about state changes in UDK, I've taken a first pass at developing some A.I. battles. In this example, butterflies go after nectar as ammo and then hunt for a new target. Taking damage gives a butterfly a little bit of a speed boost to help it survive. For fun, I've added some spiders into the mix of this test, however their aim is delayed resulting in hilariously terrible hit percentages. I also haven't programmed dynamic obstacle avoidance yet (as demonstrated in the unity test), so it's pretty fun to watch the little dudes fly into the spiders from time to time.
