The project started expanding more than a VR Tour to Vortex Rickers
there are 3 levels so far that can be visited in the demonstration and more are going to be released

this update is about enhancing more the Unreal Intro level by adding animated and static meshes also making minor changes to lighting to come a step close to the original.

Sadly this is dead it seems. Too bad, I was really looking forward to it - specially since NVIDIA remastered Quake 2 with high res textures, 8k support, and real-time ray tracing. A VR Unreal would have been the perfect competition.

Nice projuect. It would be a dream to play Unreal like this. Perhaps textures can be upscaled with neural networks filling in the details?

needs a way to bump up the supersampling it's nothing but a blurry mess right now

this is easy to fix from the game console (~) you can adjust it with the command r.ScreenPercentage x , x can be 1 to 300
