In the history of video games, the eighth generation is a term to describe the next iteration of video game consoles that are expected to follow the current seventh generation: Microsoft's Xbox 360, Sony's PlayStation 3, and Nintendo's Wii. It also describes handheld game units released in the similar timeframe. The Nintendo 3DS was released on March 27, 2011 and Sony's PlayStation Vita was released on February 22, 2012 in North America.

yep I was laughing when they announced that the PS4 will support used games and will not have always on crap. I missed most of the details because I could not stop laughing at how Microsoft made a "to do" list for Sony. as long as they did what the Xbox 1 was not doing and they didn't do what the xbox 1 was doing they would win:) that being said I am still angry that the consoles are still alive, PC gaming is the best.

Sony slapped Microsoft several times directly where it hurts, too bad I love Halo & Forza. So I have to wait and see if they change their mind :/ with used games on XB1, if not I am ready to welcome a PS4 @ home.
