The X-Hawk is a stereo camera that attaches to mobile-based VR headsets such as the Samsung Gear VR to provide positional tracking of the X-Cobra or other gaming peripherals. By simply affixing a single LED to any gaming peripheral, the X-Hawk is able to track the position of that peripheral in 3D space. At the heart of the X-Hawk is a CPU optimized specifically for on-board algorithm computations. The proprietary algorithm utilized by the X-Hawk allows it to distinguish and track up to 40 LEDs per frame. With an FOV of more than 180 degrees, it is capable of providing extremely precise tracking over a wide play space. Besides controller tracking, the X-Hawk can also calculate the location of VR headsets by tracking externally placed LEDs.
