An in engine test of Heathen Engineering's Terran new flight control and camera rig control systems.

Like projectiles and well most everything else in Heathen's Terran ships are physical objects affected by various forces. If you have ever played a space simulator you know this can be a fun but rather frustrating thing to manage in space where drag doesn't apply. Flight control is your ship's AI and it helps keep your ship under control while the camera rig helps to insure you have a clear line of sight.

Ships in Heathen's Terran range from corvette (75m and smaller) to massive ships like the Fortress category well over 1,000m (1km) in length. Traveling as slow as 100m/s and as fast as 650m/s its important to provide smooth, precise control of the ship and orbital camera. These tests help us to polish and prove the system across all inputs (keyboard+mouse, gamepads, joystick, etc.) and across all ship categories.
