Yes, I hope so (if by attacking you mean slicing into vehicles).
I'm not sure if we'll make it a weapon that can damage infantry, but we'll look into it.
Don't you mean the Medic's defibrillator? I don't recall the wrenches being able to be used as weapons in the game (Battlefield 2, anyway). :0
You can kill people with BF3's torch and BF:BC2's drill-thingy.
Most likely it will work in a similar fashion to BF3's torch. So you can repair allied (and neutral) vehicles and bots and damage enemy vehicles and infantry.
But this of course is all subject to change.
