"Character Development in Blender 2.5" is a book written by Jonathon Williamson from www.blendercookie.com,, and also hes a official Blender tutorial guy.
Will work through this book in the next couple of weeks and will tell you how good it is, but as far as I know it should be very usefull and good.
From what I've heard it is a good book, and it's typically hard to go wrong with Jonathan Williamson, he is essentially the person who taught me how to model the way I model. If I had the extra money laying around I'd probably pick it up just for the read, seeing as I really don't need another book on such matters, my school has already afforded so many that I need a 3rd book case. Hope you enjoy it.
