its a tad bland, a nice idea though.
You could perhaps add some damage to some of the columns and maybe a more distinct texture to it, could maybe use some high poly detail either in the form of normal maps or doing it in sculpt mode. Just some suggestions, looks nice regardless, the composition is good. Kind of like a cave gives a good feeling of a large scale cave or something. :D

Thanks! well what can i say, im a noob xD im using blender for like a month now (lazily though) :D
I cant really make some of the columns crumbled because, basicaly its just 1 column automaticaly duplicated on each vert. of a plane and then i added a random modifier to the plane :D Also i moved one side of the plane little bit up, so you could see more :D

I like it, it looks interesting and it does make a nice background ^.^
(Note: doesn't mean I used it, just adding that it does)

do you have any different views of these columns? I think they are pretty cool! Reminds me of Myst 4, that world with the octagonal stones

Description

Actually i think that you can call this the truly first render, because here i actually use compositioning (which i discovered the same day i made this) and some other interesting techniques..
Anyways i made this in about an hour and well it seems that i have a new background! xD
if somebody is really interested in this, there ar 105625 vertices and 88724 faces, and it took me 4 min to render...
