RFS2 Engine is a custom engine written in C and Lua powering Retro FPS Studio, which produces 2.5D FPS graphics alike to old software-rendered MS-DOS era engines, like idTech1/DOOM and the Build Engine. An important inspiration for this engine has been Raycasting Game Maker, but Retro FPS Studio (RFS) was made for complex DOOM-style levels rather than Wolfenstein grid ones.
