Whooooo! I stopped early in EP2 last time I played and decided to wait for the EP5 release due to the cool changes.. now I can start from 2 again with all the nice stuff and catch up at least a bit before the new release :)
What WADs do you recommend to play this with?
Eyy, good work! Looking forward to Ep 5 :)
Dude... Duuuuuuuude this looks amazing. Great work!
+1 on requesting a version with crits removed or just set to do 1.00001x damage or something. Also this is being a bit nitpicky but could there be a version with reloading still in the game? Its a feature a lot of people love for such an early fps.
Awesome mod!
Can't wait, you've clearly put a lot of effort into this!
Oh, apologies.. I think(?) it was the latest version on the github as of May 24th when I did the comment, but I'm not 100% since it's been a while.
Ah crud so they updated the same 1.15 page with a new RC. That's a shame. Ah well, I'm patient so I'll wait.. great mod btw, looking forward to trying to survive lol.
I used the instructions in the .ini inside the rar for latest version.
Installed plus patch, launched the game, then installed this mod using the installer .exe, only optional thing I used was the Anaconda black skin. Then I launched the game from the UP desktop shortcut. I also made a new game from a fresh game start, and picked Brujah. Was this right or did I do a dumb and screw it up? EDIT: Oh, UP installer is VTMBup115rc2.5.exe
Umm, is this intentional?
I started with pretty much all combat stats because I figured I'd try not having non-combat skills carry me and didn't put an extra point into Dex, and the blood-buff tutorial in the tutorial area requires 3 lock-picking, but with the blood-buff I still only have 2 lock-picking so it's a soft-lock. Am I missing something or is it possible to literally soft-lock the tutorial by not having certain stats?
Looking great! Always good to see a check in post on a long project.
Thanks mate, good excuse to start a new run lol, I lost my last playthrough's save. Good on you for fully bringing this mod to the English-speaking audience.
What's the recommended player level and such? Can it be done from a new game, or better to level first?
after it gets to Client: Synchronizing it was just infinitely loading til I force closed (left it for 15 minutes to make sure).. decided to try changing it to DX8 mode and it finally crashed and gave me an actual error.. any chance you know how to fix this, Avgust1n? I really wanna play your mod, looks awesome!
(I did exclude it from my only overlay, Rivatuner, and I'm on GOG version using the international version of the mod)
EDIT: I fixed it, after a lot of things from forums I found the simple solution: max settings on larger mods simply gives out of memory errors, even on fairly high end systems like my 5800x and 3060 Ti / 16gb ram (nothing to do with my ram, its just the fact the game is 32bit.
So, I turned up grass distance and density and distance, wihch were by default at minimum. Those are the two settings I have isolated, everything else can be maxed. Maybe I missed instructions somewhere but there was no warning about this and I dont see anyone else with the issue, so more than likely its a freak random issue. Just thought I'd let you know how I fixed it instead of simply deleting this comment. Now to play the awesome mod!

Latest version crashes for me about 5 seconds after changing any graphics setting. It does change the setting (I saw the resolution change etc) but then closes the game after a delay and when reopened no settings were saved. Saving/reloading and playing in general seems to work fine. Shame because the mod is really awesome.
EDIT: Aha! found the culprit, this mod really hates RivaTuner/MSI Afterburner overlay. I disabled it for the game .exe and the settings can be changed and mod works flawlessly. Maybe add a warning in the setup instructions, lots of people use RTSS. Appreciate your work!
:) I started a let's play style thing on youtube of your mod. The mod is awesome! Not my intention to plug the videos, but it has the mod name in the title and link in description.
Does this work with the campaign/Tier singleplayer missions?
Damn, nice! Glad to see something this good being shared with the community openly.

Looks epic, good work!
Dayum, had my doubts when I loaded it up and the mother of all hotstarts ensued with a dozen enemies swarming... but within half the first level I was hooked, the variety of weaponry even in the first level is awesome, plus the powerups and economy. Blew through the first episode in one sitting.
Good work dev!
Oh hell yes, I've been following this for ages and it got buried in my lists of stuff I was awaiting. Buying this for sure! :)
Agreed, I know it can seem rude when people ask.. but no news posts for almost 2 years is concerning to fans of any mod project.
Quite fun so far! I love the idea of the Clanless.. I always wanted to do a playthrough with Obfuscate on a non-Malk/non-Nosferatu character. Also doing Ventrue without the annoying vomit when drinking bum/rat blood. I know you can simply use a cheat to add disciplines, but this is a way more built in option. Looking forward to seeing the other alterations. Will do a review after I finish, of course.
Better polished than rushed :) Hope you had a good break!
Heya, so happy to see this already in beta! Just a question, what kind of state is it in? All areas complete, only some? Just so I have an idea of what's what before jumping in to do some testing :)Sorry if you already talked about this, I can't see any mention of the state in beta in the Zdoom post or this post. Again, love your stuff and so excited to jump in and see if I can find some obscure bugs ;)
