We can safely say that this was the most demanding build up to now. With lots of improvements and of course lots of resulting bugs to fix. We are still not sure that everything is running well, but our main aim is too see how the lighting system, torches and the optimizations improved the overall experience.
This is the main changelog and it's very shortened as there are lots of other changes and improvements and most of them will be recognized by the player.
Changelog:
- New lighting system
- Tweaked the difficulty for some platform areas in game. It should be easier now to pass them.
- Weapon retextured: Ardens Ira
- New item added: torches.
- Third chapter of the first Act will take you to Oneiros, a parallel plane similar to the one in which the first two chapters take place.
- Implemented the moving platforms system, tweaked and polished the system by a good degree.
- Optimized the code to improve CPU work load. We discovered that an insane amount of time was wasted by the CPU with processing physics. This was now reduced from 12-15 ms to 4-5 ms. Also, moved a lot of code from executing in Update() methods into separate methods.
- Optimized the textures for the environment as they were very demanding as far as GPU goes.

Okay started playing last night and was really impressed by the changes...fantastic! However, I got stuck after jumping across the rock formations when I ended up in the room/arena with the creatures and weapons. I have defeated them several times but I'm stuck in the big black room and can't get out...not sure what I'm missing?
Well, that is the playground part of the demo. Basicaly the demoends there. If you want, I can send you the super secret full build. But i can't guarantee that the next levels are fully functional.
Oh...lol! Yeah that would be great and I'll get a video uploaded along with a blog/article. It's really moving along nicely and look forward to seeing some more.
