Welcome to the first entry of this development blog! I will be doing these occasionally (probably once a week) to keep you guys updated with the development process! All Unity developers are welcome to learn from the information I post in the upcoming dev-updates.
So, starting this week awkwardly on a Thursday, there are plenty of GUI updates and new features to show. First, instead of ending the round by returning to the game lobby every time, it will display the end-of-the-round screen which calculates the overall statistics and achievements/progress and final outcome of the battle. Later in development, the host of the server may change the amount of rounds per match in the game mode settings panel. Once the amount of rounds have been reached its limit, the server will calculate the amount of round victories and defeats, and then finally returns to the lobby with the match winner. Players may also leave between breaks after a round ends without fearing any penalties.

Later on next week, we are planning to improve an inventory system in the upcoming sandbox mode, as well as replace the messy GUI. After that, we plan to finish up the GUI and animations, and finally complete the code for the round-end manager.
Thanks,
