This group is for all the musicians at ModDB. I place to show off their work and to discuss music. You could also ask for help for a song or give suggestions to one another. If you are requesting help for a mod or game, PM me and I can relay the message on the news/blog. This way people don't get mass e-mailed :). I don't know what else to say so have fun!
*July 12th 2009* Just updated the song. Havent had much time for music this month but I wanted to change this around a bit. It's more to the point than it use to be. This is a work in progress that I started yesterday (June 27th 2009). I liked the original a lot and thought a symphony version would be a lot of fun to make. This is a very early and incomplete version so don't judge it too harshly. It also ends suddenly shortly after I start what will end up being a large build up. For those who enjoyed the original Thoughts by The River track, I hope you like this more haha. I am working on a lot right now but I hope to create a bit of a RPG soundtrack which would include the finished and polished version of this work in progress along with other songs of similar but different natures. Might be a fun group project who knows. Anyhow, enjoy the song.
There's an underlining string in there that is kind of annoying which I am aware of. I am either going to try to alter the string or choose something else as a whole, but I'm aware of it so everyone knows before I'm bombarded.
But yeah, post some comments! This is really my first Symphony attempt so comments are definitely sought after.
I really like the opening, but ss the song progresses it gets a little tedious, possibly because of that string sound you mentioned. Also the symbol build up hat happens every once in a while seems a bit out of place. But overall a very nice piece.
What program are you using to make this?
Yeah that dang string haha. This is more or less my outline and I can cut things and add things to make it more varied (Which your right it does need to be). The program I used is 100% FLStudio. It's all I know haha.
Thanks, I've been trying out a bunch of different audio programs to see which one I like best, FLStudio seems pretty neat.
