Its been a busy couple of months since we made our last blog post! In that time we’ve built up our Kamioka castle map, added in new animations, built new armor sets and even published our first video blog (which you can view here: Youtube.com).
We’re now at a point where we’ve got A LOT to show off, so going forward we’ll be providing some more regular updates in the form of videos and Facebook/Twitter updates. If you’re not following us already, have a think about following or liking us to stay up to date with all the latest news:

Our Kamioka Castle environment is now very nearly finished! Its taken quite a long time to get all the textures/materials/lighting setup right but we’re pretty happy with the result. If you haven’t done already, check out our first video blog which includes a ‘fly through’ of the scene: Youtube.com.
In other news, we've been experimenting with our brand new Mocap (motion capture) tool, kindly provided by the guys at Cinema Mocap (Cinema-suite.com). Me and Jay have been playing around with the tool to look at what type of motions it can capture accurately.
We've almost got the pipeline nailed down and will be doing another video update in the near future to show how it all works.
In other news, Jay and Marcus have been making strides with integrating some of the new animations and character controller component. We've been hit with a few delays where real-life stuff had to take priority. That said- we've recently hit a real milestone in the development and will do some video updates focusing on gameplay soon.
Next weekend, we've got our first ever mo-cap session booked! We’re working with a bunch of Martial Artists from Somerset Budokai to get some solid video and mocap references. Its going to be an awesome experience working with them and getting some valuable footage- so we’ll be doing a video update specifically on that as well!
Thanks for reading, and be sure to follow us on FB and Twitter!

Keep it up guys, it's looking great and This game is really shaping up.
Thanks Choders!
This is Awesome man Track.
Ah, there it is. That is the game I kept confusing Hanako with. Yeah, this looks good. Great lighting and textures! Are you gonna have DOF like this in the game?
Maybe, but that'll depend on which camera mode you use (e.g. first or third person).
Ohhh... Oh yes... I must say, this is amazing news. Loving the progress. Whenever you guys go dark, I get worried and then excited.
My logic: If the project was cancelled, you'd let us know. You might have real life issues to contend with, or perhaps just being lazy. But it's much more likely that you're working on Bushido and preparing to release a news update that will make our hearts stop. Please, try not to kill your fanbase.
We'll try, lol :D !
Thanks for all the positive feedback guys :) !
When you guys stay quiet for too long, its either going to get us awesome news or you give up on project (which is not an option!).
Just kidding, I dont want to look like overly attached fan but you guys are doing really great.
Keep up the good work !

OK so this is developing really really nicely, and you guys are great at building suspense between updates o.o
Is there going to be any sort of environmental destruction? IE slicing through bamboo shoots, paper walls, etc? It's not very important or anything, but just wondering.
Also, when can we expect a (even if very rough)gameplay video?
and finally, how far will character customization go? Will we be able to go so far as to customize our weapons, sheaths, etc?
Thank you guys so so much for an extraordinary and extremely promising game!

Looks good guys I'm really excited for this. In the faq there's a release goal of Q4 2014, is that still a feasible goal for say, at least a beta? If not may I suggest taking a limited number of preorders for a beta release, that is if financing will help to speed things along. Personally I'd rather wait and have a higher quality game, but whatever we can do to help, thanks!
Has the Kickstarter already happened?
