We are very pleased to announce and present to you our acceptance into KickStarters.com. We've had quite a few people ask how they can donate or support us, and this is the best possible way. If you can be categorized in any of the following 3 groups:
- Group 01 - You believe in us (or indie games in general!)
- Group 02 - You love jetpacks, dinosaurs and / or mechs.
- Group 03 - You have tons of money.
This update is for YOU!
We have 30 days (Jan. 17 - Feb. 17) to raise an absolute minimum of $10,000. We currently have no money coming into the company and no money going out. This means no one is being paid and that we are all doing this passionately simply because we believe in ORION that much.
These funds will allow us to continue the momentum of the game's development and allow us to secure key developers. These funds will also be attributed towards the Multiplayer Beta and attending conferences in order to lock a publisher and simply raise more awareness for ORION.
We are going to be pumping out content over these next 30 days, including 4 new trailers, tons of screen grabs, and everything between.
You can read more about the donation packages and rewards over at our Investment Relations page:

BRAND NEW TRAILER!
We are celebrating this event with the premiere of a brand new trailer. This was a fan-made trailer created by AJ Hallmon. This trailer uses the music track "Mind Heist" - created by the one and only, Hans Zimmer.
AJ had send me this trailer telling me he made it in his free time just out of genuine excitement for our upcoming title.
We were so humbled at the fact that someone would spend there own time working on something relating to this game we are making - and so impressed by the quality and style of it - that we have now employed him. He is now the brand new video editor at Spiral Game Studios.
We always encourage fans to submit anything - whether its a map, a video, or simply an idea. If you put enough time into it and it fits with our agenda - we will always promote and appreciate you!
BRAND NEW MEDIA!
WHAT IS KICKSTARTER?
Kickstarter is a new way to fund creative ideas and ambitious endeavors.
We believe that:
- A good idea, communicated well, can spread fast and wide.
- A large group of people can be a tremendous source of money and encouragement.
Kickstarter is powered by a unique all-or-nothing funding method where projects must be fully-funded or no money changes hands.
SECURE KEY DEVELOPERS
Right now all of us are working for free and pouring as much time as we possibly can into the game. The funds received from this event will attribute in a variety of ways. Most importantly, it will lock and secure key developers to continue developing at the momentum we are. This will allow for more content, more polished builds, and a quicker release.
MULTIPLAYER BETA
The funds will also secure and lock the Multiplayer Beta. We've opened registration and are currently cranking away on the game build to have it ready for a Summer launch.
GAME DEVELOPER CONFERENCE 2011
The funds will allow us to bring a polished build to this years Game Developer Conference, where all developers, publishers and investors come to talk, mingle and release new announcements.

Hey everyone! - We appreciate any help you can give! - just remember 10 dollars gets you into the beta, along other goodies, and it gets even better from there!
Even a custom designed character in-game/named after you +achievements named after you. Check it out!
Wait so if $10 gets me into the beta, how much do you need to get the customized character? It sounds epic
I am really itching for the white and black armor...
Who do I talk to?
Mind Heist was actually written by Zack Hemsey, not Hans Zimmer. :)
