We hope everyone enjoyed last weeks stockpile update. It was a pivotal update into our new crafting system up and running. This week we've been working especially hard and can not wait to bring you the upecoming crafting update next week.
If you missed out on your chance to grab a key from last weeks update we will have ten more bundled with next week's update. It's a first come first serve basis so remember keep an eye out when the update goes live next week.
To get an idea of how the new UI will look with crafting library we brought a grocery bags worth of images including what kind of items to expect for next weeks update.
And just like any good infomercial it doesn't just stop there, because... WAIT! There's more! Garrett had a chance to play around with some early water physics code.
Hopefully we can manage to sneak that in next update however at the very least you'll have a sexy new crafting system to play with.
As always don't forget to follow us on Twitter, Facebook, Desura, IndieDB, Blogger, and Steam! You can now subscribe to our Pixel Pushers Podcast on iTunes!

if your too young to play terraria or terraria is too complex for you you can play this game, just the feeling i get from the video reminds me of farmville or something kiddy like that.
you plan on adding some horror type visuals like night time zombies try attacking your base or something?
Actually these are all placeholder graphics. We plan on adding hyper-realistic sprites and liberally sprinkle blood and gibs throughout so we can attract more "mature" audiences.

that's exactly what i was hoping for, for me the game is too bright, lol at the mad kids
Are you serious?
100% Series. Dead Serious. As serious as a heart attack. Super Serious. Serious Sam Serious.
;)
That sounds serious!!!!
lol Well played, TR :)
I like ye trollin, buddy. Finally there are some real additions to this game.
From what you're saying it seems that you never even tried SoR. Its more of an RTS than it's an RPG, but then again you might just say these are all Minecraft ripoffs so meh, who cares.
Correction, Dwarf Fortress ripoffs.
Which I'll take over a ripoff of anything far less awesome any day.
I say this about Team Fortress 2 everyday. Why play a shooter with kiddy graphics when I could be play CALL OF DUUTY. So realistic, look at that blood! </sarcasm>
Only kids play TF2. It's such a childish game I can't stand playing any game without iron-sight and regenerating health. Everyone eventually grows up some time and plays REAL games like Call of Duty. That is what hardcore gamers play not kiddie games like TF2.
I hope you are joking. I think you are...
I think he is too.. but you can't ever truly tell without a tone of voice. 99% sure he is joking.. 99%..

TF2 is for kids ffs shut up kid
Looking very nice.
The terraria comparison is ******** and you know it.
Keep at it with the game. I'd love a simpler, more accessible DwarfFortress.
Craft system reminds me Project Zomboid:D Nice choice...
u r my heros :D
Will there be some items that require more than one type of workshop? Such as needing the woodworking piece, and the smelter? Or are those other squares on the bottom row for something else?
It'll be something like, Workshop, Skill, Fuel. For the 3 spots.
Your updates make it really hard to follow through with this black March thing
We don't work for any big corporations, so I'll let everybody slide on purchasing indie titles. ;)
Hi! This game was my first ever purchase, and, as i can see, i could have made a better one!
I have to say though, any game with chuck norris in their story is a game worth buying!
Any news on this one or is it dead?
