Hey, Assembly RTS fans! 👋 I don't have a lot to unveil this time, but trust me, every bit counts!

🚗 Vehicles Got Their Groove On!

Gave our vehicles a bit of love and, voilà! They're now gliding over terrains like they were born for it. Graceful, smooth, and looking good doing it!

Unveiling the Fog

I'm now working on the fog of war mechanics. Crafted into the data-oriented design of Assembly RTS, vehicles are about about to play a perfect game of peekaboo!

Photon Quantum

On a more technical note for my racing game side project: A deep dive into networking solutions led me to Photon Quantum. 🚀 At first I considered to make this racing game single-player only. But this bad boy features cross-platform determinism and rollback-networking without too much hassle! It would be foolish to not at least try it!

It would have even been a great fit for Assembly RTS. But back in the day Quantum came with a hefty price tag. Now it's completely free! So while Assembly RTS busts its very own moves with lock-step networking, I've got my eye on Quantum for future games. 💡
