So please, vote for Fursan al-Aqsa and make its voice be heard in the games industry. Despite the sensitive and controversial topic of my game, especially in the light of the current events, but Fursan al-Aqsa carries a very important message: Telling a well known history through a brand new perspective never portrayed before in games.

Some of you may consider my game as "Terrorist Propaganda", and I am not here to judge your personal opinions or political points of views, neither the Israeli x Palestinian conflict, this is not the point. The point here is that games are a form of art, and we, game developers, are artists who should never be censored. We have our rights to tell our stories from our perspective, this is our rights to freedom of speech and freedom of creativity.

Everyone who follows my game on social media, game forums and here on IndieDB, knows very well that I suffered a lot of restrictions while promoting my game, and that even though platforms like IndieDB, Steam, itch.io, gamejolt and others allowed me to promote my game (and I will be forever thankful for all of them), many other platforms, sites, forums, festivals, even blocked me and did not allow my game to participate.

So regardless your point of view on politics, religion, and so on, but if you, as a gamer, support freedom of creativity, support that games are a form of art and that game developers have the rights to tell a message through games, if you are against censorship and, most important, if you do like Fursan al-Aqsa as game (a very fun shooter with over the top action moments), even though you may not agree with my game's political message, please, vote for Fursan al-Aqsa on the Indie of the Year 2023 Competition!

Already voted. Unlike Steam where your game is banned in my country I can still vote here for your game.

Thanks my friend! But the blame is not on Steam, rather, on Germany itself. They are mad over my game:

ZDF is German public TV under control of German political parties, the Amadeu-Antonio-Stiftung quoted in the article a political NGO founded by Jews.
Steam is an American website, they could freely ignore the demand by German authorities to block the game in Germany.
Yes, the problem is the the German establishment (not the same as the German people), but also Steam.

But it is a norm on steam to do some region lock on games whenever the game does not comply with the country legal demands. There is a chance of unblocking my game on Steam (Germany), which is to send it to USK to get an age rating. However, they ask almost 3k euros for an analysis without guarantee that my game will get an age rating. So I won't be wasting 3K euros just for maybe unban my game in Germany.

hey man found a glitch in the classic game which makes it impossible to move past, in mission 3 the mossad room, after I go into the room with the disguise on, outside the door is a guy who cannot be killed. I was shooting them in the head for about 10 seconds without anything happening then I died..

love the game though!

No bro, he is the boss. You need to hide on the small offices and shoot at him, shoot and crouch under the windows. You need to shoot him too much until he dies :)
