Following the assassination of the U.S. vice-president by a North Korean assassin, the second Korean War breaks out and takes a heavy toll on the United States. Meanwhile, the communist party in Russia has taken control and formed the Eurasian Socialist Republic (E.S.R)- which includes the former Soviet states and Greece, Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria, and Hungary. With all U.S. forces in Korea, the E.S.R. along with China, Cuba, and Iran quickly invade the west coast of America. Leaving only everything east of the Mississippi River unoccupied. Now you must play as three different characters: Private James Morgan- a solider sent home from the Second Korean War three months before the invasion, Marcus Cooper- a father and school-teacher trying to reach his family over the Mississippi, and Gordon Clark- an American spy placed in the fictional city of Harleston, California.
