Earth and the core worlds are suffering. Overpopulation and lack of resources are leading to unrest and desperation. That's where you come in. You've been recruited to colonize a planet more than 4 light years away. It's your job to save the human race from its own greed and consumption. The game is experienced from a top-down view allowing for the deliberate and creative crafting of every item, vehicle, and structure in use. Using a scriptable and dynamic artificial intelligence the AI Overlord will change up every aspect of the game. Nothing stays the same forever, making Worlds an addictively, dynamic experience with limitless replayability.

Post news Report RSS Violent Sol Worlds Developer Update 7/31/2016

Violent Sol Worlds is quickly taking shape. We have add a lot of things to the game over the past week and destroyed most of our bugs. It is not glamorous work but the payoff is a stable build and a game is starting to shine through using the systems we painstakingly put together. We still have a ton of work to do, but we are getting things done at a great pace. Thank you for supporting Violent Sol Worlds, please do follow the project here on IndieDB or on Steam.

Bug Death

  • Every animal drops equipment for you to use now

Loot

  • Added cave entrances to the world

Rhino Turtle

  • We now have a news ticker that will drop down from time to time giving some news to help inject story elements in game
  • Driving is fun, but much more fun when you can run over every animal in the game.
  • Your crate is a little better when you start
  • Ramming a car into a tree, does damage to the tree and potentially kills it
  • When you place a laser turret into the world the AI overlord can produce a large stalker attack for you to enjoy
  • Did a lot of experimenting with loading capabilities
