I have to disagree, UE2 and UE2.5 were missing a lot that other engines had at the time, UE1 really was amazing for it's time, UE3 is the best current generation game engine in my opinion.

Maybe 3 years later there will be a new engine, but i dont think they get it any better then this, this is already realistic, maybe some new adjustments will come, but i dont think they can make it more realistic.

well, if they add 'subsurface-scattering' and jump the possible poly counts higher, it will become so much real-er. And better physics, because of course, I still think Source engine's havoc physics are much better.
