Are you a fan of oldschool RPGs like Ultima, but crave the openness and exploration in modern games? If so, we at Valorware are proud to present 9th Dawn, a game that's a blend of modern and traditional design and gameplay and sports one of the largest open world experience available today in a mobile RPG! Explore the large island continent of Montelorne, a land far detached from the mainland, but filled with mystery, danger, and last but not least, adventure. You begin your journey in the small village of Agaria, but once you gain your bearings, you'll find yourself immersed in a world of its own. Play as one of three of the traditional classes: The sturdy knight, skilled in the art of combat and possessing the ability to wield heavy armour and weapons; the nimble archer, capable of swiftly dispatching a foe from afar or up close with his daggers; the wise mage, master of the elements and capable of utilizing powerful magic spells.

We've still got a huge slew of things we are working on. We are currently at patch 1.29, and we plan to release the melee combat overhaul that we've been talking about in 1.30. We'll keep working on our todo list and have that finished up around 1.39, then plan to release the final big patch which will feature a large expansion to the game in terms of content and the world map in 1.40. We hope that that will mark the "completion" of 9th Dawn and that we can then work on perfecting the PC version and from there move on to our next awesome project. This is going to be an exciting next few weeks for 9th Dawn, now that things have gotten more stable bugwise/crashwise and we can finally get to cracking down on content fixes and additions and gameplay enhancement.
As of November 4, 2012, 9th Dawn has been launched on Google Play. There is a free demo version to try out and see if you enjoy the game before purchasing...
When can we expect a Mac version?

I've been enjoying the android version a bit. I know it's supposed to be reminiscent of an older, more hardcore age of RPG but I still YEARN for quest markers on the map, or a compass of some sort. My screen is just so small that it makes finding places kind of hard!
