can we have a guess as to when this will be a thing
we have not made a decision if there will be character hair, hats, props etc. in the first alpha; we are planning to have a number of different body types and sizes on the alpha.

He was made as a test and was not added to the game, there is more information in the comments on YouTube (there will be many playable body shapes and sizes including bosses in the full game).

I hope eventually this is a real thing I would love my guy to be a tennis player. Yes this may be hard since it is only alpha, but maybe you can just make multiple different character choices that would be cool. But I would really like to suggest keeping in the jellymen as characters instead of real people
I really agree with the idea of the of having multiple character choices and have like just some preset customization and PLEASE KEEP THE JELLY PEOPLE!!!
It's already been said, there WILL be an option to play as Jelly Characters.

The two customisation images we have shared are indicative of what we are planning for customisations.

its going to be 0.1.0, and on steam, and for money
maybe you should make character modeling open to the public. a good modding community never hurt
it will take a significant amount of work and time but we want to make Gang Beasts highly customisable with support for user generated characters and levels.
When is the next update going to be I can't wait.

Can there be guns and melee weapons
We don't plan to add ballistic or bladed weapons, but plan to make items in the environment that can be used as weapons e.g. TVs, pot plants, chairs, pipes etc.
It would be awesome if you could make it so that we can choose the color of our character in the first alpha :D
We plan to support character colour selection but can't commit to it being in the 0.1.0 build currently.
Can there also come a PS3 version?
We don't have the tools or licences to make a PS3 version currently but are open to making versions for last gen consoles if we can get the necessary equipment and permissions etc.

The pre-alpha is a technology demonstration with some prototype stages and content etc. we had to take time out from development after the 0.0.3 build to set up for working on the game full time (finding the funds to move our fourth member to Sheffield), setting up the office (software licences / equipment etc.), and planning for a more frequent upgrade cycle when we are on Early Access.

There are no console versions of Gang Beasts currently as the game is still in development.
