Orphaned at age 10 when her parents were brutally murdered, every night Keito dreams the same dream: cornered by a man in a wolf's mask, a knife is brought to Keito's throat, and then she wakes. But waking moments confirm her worst fears, and soon Keito is trapped in a tangle of suspicions, lies, and fear. Reality fades into terror as she is left alone to fight the relentless force that haunts her.
I am Violence, taking place in New Atlanta in 2041, employs an unreliable narrator and events are sometimes presented out of chronological order. The player takes the role of an unnamed woman dubbed "Keito" by fans for her distinctive yellow suit. One day, Keito receives a voicemail about her gang leader being betrayed, arrested and sentenced to death, Keito is out to find where he is held while taking revenge on all the former gang members and trying to stay sane through this bloodbath...
