This is my attempt of making a good ego-shooter with the Unity game engine. As the title suggests, it's highly inspired by the Serious Sam series and in fact was started after playing a round in „First encounter-classic“. It is in a very early stage but it's developing quite fast and I'm pretty satisfied with what I have so far. The plan is: Updating a playable version as often as possible and release a change log every time I upload a new prototype.
This is a little test for the art direction I consider going for. Very blocky, very artsi but with a lot of gore and action coming later. Stay tuned! Free Music from:

I actually like the style, but you should definitely define weapons and pickups way more. Like, at least everything should have the detail that the cacti and giant carcass have.
