I have done some first-person experiments: the gameplay is really fun in first-person but I need a better 3D model for the cockpit. I'd like to get a VR set to test it that way, I bet it'd be incredible.

Glad you like it. It's inspired by a lot of 90s games like the Wing Commander Series, the X-Wing Series, StarFox, and Raptor Call of the Shadows.
Game looks good, but the fighter HUD could use a facelift. Maybe transparency, beveling, glow, and sci-fi colors. You could browse around the fantasy user interface sub-reddit for ideas: /r/FUI
