The Awakening is a turn-based strategic survival game inspired by Slavic Mythology and Folklore and set in a Dark Fantasy world. As the world of Thea awakens from a century of Darkness, you are mankind's last hope.
There are no heroes, no monster slayers, and no great armies ready to banish the dark forces that plague Thea. Just a few hopeless and starving survivors, who are desperately trying to stay alive. And you: their only true hope.
For one hundred years, Thea was a land of Darkness. Ruled by creatures of the night, demons from the depths of the underworlds and lost souls tormented the living, unable to find peace. Gods fell from their seats, kingdoms crumbled into ruin, and death and despair dominated the lands.
In The Awakening you take on the role of a god, a patron of a small group of survivors, desperately trying to lead your flock through the many risks and dangers that plague Thea. Only your skill and judgement will determine whether you can save mankind.

No micro payments, pay to play, instead: free dlc's and a "one more turn" syndrome based gameplay is what we offered. A Game we would like to play. And a game we are proud to make.
When we entered EA we thought that the game is almost ready. But, the community used our hands and brains and made the game so much, much more!!!
We redesigned gods, changed difficulty levels, added "normal" save system, changed and balanced weapons special actions, improved input... and so on, and so on! Sometimes, there were two updates in one day.
Today. On a day when we launch Thea's full version, I want to tell you that going into early access was one of biggest and best decisions we made. The community helped us. They worked with us and they love our game!
And here is the launch trailer:

Our team can be found this September at prestigious EGX expo at the NEX in Birmingham, UK.

Help us spread the word of Thea on your social media and get your creative juices going, by creating your very own tale! So, brush up on your Slavic demons...
Was all in until the Cards thing came up.
Don't let that put you off. I found the card minigame to be intriguingly more-ish :)
