The Lame Game Marathon is a gaming marathon for charity where Dan Camilleri, Mark Dawes and Luke Wigley will play over 20 of the worst videogames ever made for 24 hours non-stop, all to raise money for UNICEF.
This will be the third event in the marathon’s illustrious three year history, and we hope to break last years record of $7,300 in donations by raising even more money for a great cause.

How does the marathon work?

From the moment the Lame Game Marathon begins, our players Dan, Mark and Luke will each start playing a notoriously bad game from our list for 4-5 hours. Once that block is complete then each of them move on to a new lame game for the next few hours and so on until the 24 hour marathon is complete. Every game and every emotion will be broadcast live online with our hosts helping to cover all the highs and lows of the event. Throughout the stream there will also be a some bonus rounds, competitions and other surprises thrown in to the mix to spice things up a bit.

As the hosts present the marathon they’ll be engaging with the keen viewers through the chat, Twitter and Facebook to respond to questions and relay comments/support/sympathy to the players whilst kindly reminding the viewers to pledge whatever the can for UNICEF.

When does all this madness begin?
The Lame Game Marathon 3 begins at 10am (+10 UTC), Saturday the 26th of October, and all the action will be viewable right here at our site, or via our Twitch.tv account.

In the meantime you can visit this site for regular updates on the event and the games we’ll be playing, plus you can keep in touch with us right up to and throughout the marathon via our Facebook and Twitter.
