It will likely get a smaller update down the line for cleanup and making sure the menu stuff is in line with the latest EDuke32 versions, but there's nothing "in the mod" that would make it play music from Megaton.

The game going from E1L7 to the title is a remnant from the hardcoded game code. The game uses E1L7 as the "user map" slot, and automatically thinks it's the last map of the game (resulting the game going to the title screen after finishing a user map).
It would sound like you're either running an older or otherwise erroneous version of EDuke32. Care to share any more details? Unless the posts above are yours as well.
Firstly, I wouldn't recommend installing Duke Hard inside the Steam directory. Instead, just copy 'eduke32.exe' to a new directory and move the 'dukehard' subdirectory there.
I'm trying to figure out what the issue might be. Try launching Duke Hard with the eduke32.exe in a separate directory first.
We're very likely going with some custom MIDI music for this one on our own (as we stand now), but we'll see how much time we have from coding, as both of our musicians do programming as well.
Another great feature of C2G is to have it moddable so users could submit their own map/music/enemy packs if they wanted to. As we're using EDuke32, it will also support OGG or WAVE music.
If you're throwing yourself available to us, we'd be more than happy to hear some example tunes in the mood of Blood or even Blood 2, which had an amazing soundtrack, in whatever format you're comfortable with. We can't just use MP3s in the end product (as there is no support to it) and nobody really likes transcodes so we would need the music either as original MIDI tracks, or in OGG or WAVE format. Send me a private message if you're up to something!
I just realized the hud says "Clips", haha.
It's not exactly Blood remade for a new engine, but a new chapter in Caleb's storyline with a completely new campaign with other new content. But we will include the possibility to play the original maps with the original content (requiring you to convert the maps by yourself, though).
It's listed as a game since it's neither a Duke Nukem 3D nor a Blood modification as it's not built on top of either.
The wrong alignment of the numbers has been fixed quite some time ago.
Where can I buy the physical CD release of the soundtrack? This is imperative!
If anyone has the lost EDuke 2.0 mod "Wolfenstein Grosse" around, please upload it somewhere.
It's finally out! Time to put this beast to the test!
Completely the opposite. We and other people are cooking more sweet Blood stuff to come.
It is very sad to see this project go. And I was just looking to work on more music for it.
But I guess family always ends up taking more value than personal projects and endeavours ever can. So here's my wishing good luck to you and your family.
Although I will stay here, hoping you would once again decide to work on the project. Let me know if things shape up differently.
The band's name "also" happens to be a common saying.
Newest DosBox plays it perfectly, just set the core value to dynamic in the .conf file and you're game.
