Thank you. There's plenty more to come!

Yeah, something weird going on with the shadows in that pic. Will definitely find/fix it.
Thank you. We were determined from the start to finish the game regardless of Kickstarter status. We have a much smaller budget to work with, but we're definitely going to take it as far as possible!
IndieDB does give a decent amount of traffic. Nothing remarkable, but it's a good place to host a lot of content. I'd say it's largely developers, but there are a few gamers who frequent the site as well.
Thank you, we'll need it!
Thanks for spreading the word! There's quite a lot more on the way, but nothing playable for a little while.
Thanks! Things can get quite hectic while playing, so a good visual identification system was top priority.
Haha, yes. That was turned way up to make the screenshots more obvious. There's still plenty of tweaking to do with the graphics.
The original jam version can be played directly on our site here: Glassknuckle.com
Sorry for the late reply! Humble widget purchases do include Steam keys.
Spring 2014. A more specific date is coming soon.
Awesome! Sign in and shoot me a message. I wrote the engine myself, but the programming was done in Java with LibGDX.
Looks like the game broke in to the top 10 overnight. Quite pleased with the results so far!
Yep. A beta version should be available by the next update. Be sure to check back for details on that!
The case will be different every time, but the game is still a Murder Mystery. The main theme is solving the case and tracking down the killer.
Yep! There is a main story, but the events that take place within it are different each time. Most importantly, you have a reason to solve each case. They won't just be given to you without a story.
There is no need to engage in any criminal behavior if that suits your playstyle. The game is very open when it comes to player choices. In fact, playing "within the law" is probably the safest way to go about solving the case. Taking risks, such as breaking in to areas or making use of the revolver, have both pros and cons. The decision is completely up to the player.
Interesting idea! It's a possibility. I won't rule out any suggestions as of now. All depends on how the development progresses.
Thanks! Yes, in addition to scores/stats I'm working on a system that will reward the player after each game. It could be related to experience, although it's not set in stone. Basically, there will be some accumulating rewards carried across play-throughs that will open up more options later on. As for the story, there are some general subplots that are consistent throughout the game. However, most of it (such as the events and characters) will be randomized. The player will get a general feel for the world through the consistent elements, but the new pieces of each game will give it a fresh feel each time.
