hey man i need help getting particles to face in the same direction,when i select "particle direction_parallel (or) perpendiculer,all it does is flip the particles around as they are emmited,and selecting "camera" causes them to only face the camera.any tips??
Set them to Parallel and then set the angle variance to zero. Then use the Rotate.Cross, Rotate.Up, and Rotate.Forward to get your desired angle. You may have to fiddle with that for the right result.
And as for the titan, think giant cyborg space lobster of death (although it is fully machine) it has an elongated, hollow tail portion for the ship quarters. imagine the inner portion of a devastator's sides. as we move from the back to front the midsection is concave. carved out similarly to the inside of a canoe. inside is extending from the ship quarters to the end of the "canoe" is a "backbone" like structure identical to the elongated cylinder form found in the middle of the vasari carrier cap. there are then claws followed by the nose of the ship which is the tallest section of the ship. is is sharp like a knife blade, similar to other characteristic vasari designs
I was wondering if you knew much about the manshooter mod, and how particle effects are assigned and put onto ships, by the mod?
Specifically how you did the holographic pop up mod for SOTP, and where you defined the particles?
