this happens when your hero is re-spec-ed.
Re-spec happens when your hero is from older version, or something went wrong with the skill points.

Installed High Res on top of 1.1

Started new game, fought 2 battles, all ok.

Looted the chest, and I swapped plenty of armor/weapon.

When I was checking the last character, mage, and scrolled through the shared inventory, the game crashed.

Could it be due HIGH RES patch or high res patch is unrelated to it? (inventory management probably has nothing to do with high res...)

Would the alphabet fascists hunt down this mod, let's call it "Normal People mod", it will be much harder to censor it, methinks.
BTW, do you know what is so ironic about Starfield? It perfectly depicts how Earth will look like, if alphabet loons will stay in power.

The paper dolls are not compatible with armor.
It looks like the armor sizes are adapted to Maestro Mod (with Dark Elves, Dragons...) and so are the armor paper dolls sprites.

Could be the Maestro figures be implemented in this Redone patch or the armor sprites to be adapted to actually graphically fit the figures?
It looks weir this way.

(and the install instruction advise to use raw MM7 version, not the Maestro one)

Emerald portal key works as follows:
Have it in inventory of your active Hero.
Be in Braccada Desert
Next to the Stables
There is a local portal (that would normally teleport you to the Desert Portal Hub)
But when you use this portal, while having the Emeral Isle key with you, it will teleport you to Emerald Island instead
