I'm very saddened to hear that your considerate relative passed away. I'm certain you have fond memories of him and that he will live on in your tender heart. I'm truly sorry for your tremendous loss.
It may sound a bit off, almost distorted, but we're nearly entirely made of star dust, which means that elements that make up our bodies were forged inside ancient stars. We're merely a transformable energy that never dies, so no one is ever really gone.
And maybe when you wish upon a star, you evoke retentive memories of some sort of an energy called soul. There's more to life than empiricism, because it'd be quite sad to pragmatically assert there's nothing after death.
My heart goes out to you and your family in your time of genuine sorrow.
