Looks interesting.
Can't wait for future updates...
Make sure you communicate well and update often.
Sadly this is, in theory, already the way it works. Starbound and Rust sold millions of dollars worth in days of their release. So it is still pretty lucrative, they don't really need to finish the games if they didn't want to they have the cash.
People complain about AAA companies releasing broken games then throw stupid amounts of money at Early Access... ???!!!
In it's current state Early Access is too risky. Unless you love the game "AS IS" then it is not worth buying.
It would be great if steam held 50-75% of the money from the sale of the Early Access title in trust for the completion of the game, and the game could only be "released" if they achieved their original promises, or out did them with better ideas based on the feedback of the community. Then they would get some money to develop and have a huge incentive to finish it properly. Also steam would get a heap of interest in it's holding account.
The only problem is that this would require a lot of administering, something that steam seems to be trying to reduce.
Left some questions on the forum section.
Michael if you get a chance to answer I it would be really great.
Yay. please improve the inventory!
Look forward to additional mobs and shapes.
Keep up the great work
I found that you can actually smelt 2 blocks (one on top of the other) with the wood, coal can be used which burns longer too.
Loved the Demo, left me wanting more....
Love the art style
Any hint on the estimated release date?
I was stuck underground trying to dig out and found it hard to off faster that I dug out... need a delete button Glad to see you will put one in.
Also a way to separate out only specific number of the total would be great.
Enjoying the game but how to drop stuff when carry weight too high?
Also a suggestion for reducing micromanagement of the crafting. Is it possible to make a smart crafting systems that allows you to drill down and back up again.
For example - you need nails and planks and iron for a chest (or similar). So instead of finding the scrolling back to the nails and then crafting and then back again, maybe you could press the picture/word nails and it opens a sub crafting menu. This could maybe drill down several levels. Would make the game a lot more fun without ruining the realism.
Great. Thanks. Will go to steam and vote.
Any general time frame - months, years?
Is this game still being developed.
Love the idea that there is some type of story to keep things going along.
I would love to help test too.
Cool great to see the updates of things taking shape.
The improvements look awesome and improved functionality - even better!
The next step would be a difficult choice, as it all needs to come together eventually.
If ship movement could be done and then the realism (power, fuel, structural stress, etc) filled in behind with minimal issue I know a heap of people would like that.
A close second would be Insolents Ideas of space worthiness testing.
Quite the opposite. It is going through a transition, but is gearing up to have a kickstarter. Check out the new page of xenogalaxies.com
It looks great.
Sounds awesome, I wish I knew how long away this would be.
It is so captivating that it is hard to be patient.
