Hi there, I've noticed in my copy of the mod that the game doesn't create end of turn autosaves, is this a bug or a feature? And how do I revert this if it is a feature?
I lost a big chunk of my first campaign as it crashed and the previous save was many turns earlier.

I’ve not really looked into it, I don’t know how such launchers are made but I suppose I could try in the future.
If I have time later I can make for you an altered file which changes the defaults to lowest money and any other starting conditions you prefer. Maybe then you can play against the AI :)
This AI is unaltered from the previous version and I've not had anyone else reporting issues with it. I'm not entirely sure why altering the defaults would break that either.....
It's possible that the issue could just be with your version... Does it work fine when you don't alter anything? Is there anything you can alter which doesnt cause the AI to glitch out?
A few graphical sacrifices have been made to try and boost performance, I'm hoping to get some newer textures which will look better while not hitting the FPS too much soon. The hardpoints thing (which has only been partly implemented) wont be visible, targetable hardpoints but rather invisible hardpoints which take damage over time and eventually are destroyed. So you cant target turrets but if enough missiles land close by then the turret is destroyed and hopefully soon I can get models that will show damage so the ships will look more beaten and damaged before being destroyed.
New maps are in the works which will use the new models and textures that Jeroenimo has made for the EAW:Remake mod (check out his page to see what sort of maps you can expect in the next update)
The old interface has been replaced by a new one with red/blue colouring. Is it this one you are seeing? If not maybe there is an issue with the upload

The firepower and viper complement of almost 3 Mercury’s and the armour to match? She’ll need to be mighty expensive.
The wiki reckons about 500 vipers so 25 squadrons
The nova class has got some pretty impressive armaments
At least 8 super heavy turrets and at least 84 normal turrets
And since I can’t find a pic of the underneath or bow who knows what the true firepower is. This thing will be a fleet killer

Unfortunately the Nova doesn’t have a model. I do have modellers I’m working with but their skills are porting and converting existing assets so they can’t make a unit such as this from scratch

I have yes and I think it’s a good idea. It’ll be a way off as there’s lots of work to do in the meantime but I’ll make it happen
