I'm an enthusiastic environment artist looking to start a career in Finland. Very experienced in Blender and UE4, my main focus is the lightning and ambience, which in my opinion, can make or break a game. Also I'm quite proficient at putting materials together. My first contact with a game engine was when I started making maps for Counter Strike Source back in 2005. This passion of mine to create environments dates back to early UDK days, been making prototypes and small projects ever since, always looking towards a professional career.
This is a demo video about the procedural castle destruction. They won't be fully breakable due to gameplay purposes but it ads some new possibilities.
Sorry about the major stuttering, my cpu sucks so it was overloaded during all the rendering. The framerate of the video is 24fps (rendered by source recorder not fraps).
I dropped this idea because of the lag and the performance. They will be now standard breakable rocks. Beta5 coming in a few days.
Even so you dropped it.. you should disable the shadows from the dmm parts. and make it Harder so 2 pistol cannot break it .
It's a shame I know it, but the fps can drop like hell when they are wobbling and colliding against each other.
i know that problem as well its a b***h to get it working if you ask me thats why i only use it for windows :)
