It looks amazing and I'd love to see more little showcases like this for the other races!! Can't wait for the release of the update, I get the feeling I'm gonna find new enjoyment from some of my old favorite races now that they've got some tricks of their own for use against some of the (Amazing) races you guys have created like the Emperor's Children and the Imperial Fists!
I understand that the more indepth rework/remodel of the AdMech will as you said possibly come after the next update, But will the next update for Unification at least include the missing texture for the admech tower cannon?
IIRC the most recent version of the DoW mod manager has a switch that handles that for you.
I'm very much looking forward to the next version! Been enjoying trying out the "Imperial Fists" mod using the provided patch to try and beat the "Emperor's Children" in the Survival game mode!

I might be in the minority, but I still think ME:Andromeda could've been polished up even with the issues it had. Sure the story was a little lackluster and the graphical models had their problems, but the combat was excellent as far as things went, and the vehicle was a blast to drive. A pity the EA and Bioware gave up on it.
Even more so since they didn't learn their lesson and botched Atlas even more.
Edit: A couple of DLC's and Andromeda would've been in a pretty good place.....

So I've been playing the empire this time around. Hard mode, and 1 planet start. For Tier1 I was able to fend off both the rebels and CA without issue using fleets of a 5/5/12 mix of Gladiators/Vindicators/TPC's. Worked pretty well, but once the rebels got to T2 and started mass producing the Corellian Destroyers that started falling apart.
So I've begun replacing all the Gladiators and Vindicators with the more powerful Victory and Procursator classes. About to start hitting Tier 3 but looking forward to it!
I'd recommend the Empire at War Mod Launcher v1.1.0. It should work with the old discs, steam or gog. Fairly simple to setup and you can install as many separate mods as you want and choose between them at will....

The ground side of GC is disabled for now. The devs of EAW:Re wanted to concentrate on the area of the game with the most polish. Revamping the ground side of things will be a pretty big undertaking....
Edit: No need to worry about it, you can still conquer planets without doing the ground combat. Just take control of the space above them...
The basic controls in battle are the same, but if you are talking about the Galactic Campaigns then given how differently they play compared to the basic version of Empire at War: Forces of Corruption then the tutorials were likely removed or disabled. Even the popup hints from the droid are 90% useless. What areas are you having trouble with?
Yeah, It's really noticeable for the Criminal Alliance ships with their naturally dark textures. A filter to outline the units of both sides would be useful on those dark maps. The pure asteroid maps in near darkness are some of the big offenders.....
Not likely. The TIE Dagger is a First Order fighter, way outside the time period the mod covers....
So just played through my first full GC campaign of the latest version. Fairly interesting, played on medium difficulty, full map 1 planet start as the Criminal Alliance. One thing I noticed is that the empire was fairing badly against the Rebel Alliance even early on.
About halfway through the 3 way battle for the galaxy turned into a 2 way, The Criminal Alliance Vs the Rebel Alliance. The Empire got curbstomped out of existence! Had a interesting time anyway. Next time I'll try hard difficulty and playing as the Empire!
Yes!!! I loved the Republic Commando Novels, pity the author never continued the series after Star Wars Imperial Commando: 501st. I would've liked to see how things would've turned out.....
