No matter your rig you will lag. Dawn of War Soulstorm is a 32bit program, so playing UA with several players (or AI, in this case lag usually gets worse) will result in lag (and also delay playing online)

Wow, few years ago, when I started editing files and that stuff, I needed Dark Crusade. Glad that now I can use Mod Tools in Soulstorm.

Dark Crusade 1.2 Mission Editor, included in DC Mod Tools 1.2.

Dark Crusade must be installed in order to use the Mission Editor and there's a tutorial about how to use Soulstorm assets.

The Hivemind is something like a Intranet in the Warp. All tyranids comunicate each other psychically creating a kind of "connected multi-inteligence". So is not like having a "Hivemind entity" than can be killed and therefore destroy the tyranids leadership. The most high-ranked entities are the Norn-Queens.

EDIT: You can mark many so the cap gets acumulated.

About the memory: is impossible to have more than 4gb due to the game engine, wich is 32bit. To get 4gb to unlimited you need a 64bit Dawn of War, and that requires remading the game from 0.

Only Dawn of War, but I am planning to do it for Winter Assault, Dark Crusade and Soulstorm too, in that order.

There have never been official Dawn of War soundtrack, so I have extracted the music with Corsix and created an "official" album including year, composser, title, cover...files are in .mp3

Well, first you need Photoshop (or GIMP) with plugins that allow .dds files. Then each texture has its sizes and that stuff, those things are learnt while modding. If you want I can provide you with my texture pack (includes menu textures, loadscreens, game loading...). By this way you can analize the files and start editing.

EDIT: To change unit sizes you need Corsix Mod Studio and edit certain .lua files. That's all I know
