The game runs very slow for me, don't know why. On DX7 it runs 60fps, but crashes after the first cutscene. In dx8 is frustratingly laggy. Help?

I keep reading people having the game running too fast in DX8 while it is too damn laggy for me. Annoyingly so, can't find any info about it. What the hell. Is the game locked at 30fps by any chance?

This mod doesn't do anything to the blood. It's only for ejected bullets.

I fixed it. Just comment out line 17 (strafetilting) in the LOADACS inside project brutality's pk3. It's smooth again.
