The engine is listed as "custom" but according to the developer at Steamcommunity.com they are using Unity 5. Please update and correct.

Looks good so far. Some questions:
Any way to make it full screen?
Using right-click to move would be more intuitive than left click since left click is attack.
Indiedb lists the engine as Custom but it is Unity. (Yay!)
Everything looks great with this game except when a unit moves diagonally (left, right, left, right, left). It would be better if the unit could step off the underlying grid and move directly to the destination square in a straight line. When the unit is moving around objects its not so bad but that left-right turning when there is nothing in the way just looks awkward.
Download for the 8/16/2016 demo is not working.
I believe this game uses the BitSquid engine, not XNA. Please update.
If performance isn't an issue for saving/loading (I/e/ the game is paused) then XML would be great because its the easiest for players to mod. If performance is paramount (tgame saves while playing) then look at protobuf.net. Its an order of magnitude faster/smaller than anything else. Here is a link to a performance test:

Looking forward to seeing the game.
According to the developers on Steam forums (https://steamcommunity.com/app/251230/discussions/0/350532536095778471/?tscn=1464811292), they are using Unity, not "custom" engine. You might want to update the information here.
By the way, its' almost impossible to Google for info about this game since the game name is very generic and there was an old 1980's game with the same name.
