I am sorry you were having such issues. Sadly lately I am not with time to work with Librecoop, but maybe I could dedicate at least a few hours per week to make some progress.

They don't show up but you can select those maps using the si_map command in console.
Example, using the following two commands
si_map miCustomMap.map
nextMap
Oh, I see. Thanks for the help to the people who could be facing the same problem!
Also thanks for playing the map!
Hi!, I recommend leaving the addon.conf file intact. You still can type "map secon_labs" even manually without modifying anything and it should work still. The addon.conf file is there because the map includes custom scripts (for an easter egg) and to avoid any conflict with any custom mod that maybe some people use. I decided to make the map an addon pak to avoid such problems.
Hi everyone, I am sorry that there were no updates yet. This is not dead already, I am actually working in a Doom 3 custom map. When I am done with that and other stuff I'll check librecoop and fix the most important issues and bugs in general that I already know. Thanks
Are you both using the same exact version? Do you both have the same exact .pk4 files in the base folder and librecoop folder?
Also, anyone who want to try the OpenCoop custom maps, you can get them from here:
(I really like 'In Hell' 1.1 a lot)
Watched it!, thanks a lot for the support!.
It motivates me a lot to keep working in fixing and being able to release a stable version of this mod. Thank you a lot!
Thanks a lot for the comment!
I am planning to add more difficulty modes, I am not sure if they will be available for the next alpha version or for the first beta release.
There is already True Survival btw (you need to play Survival Game Mode, not Coop GameMode, with si_lives 1)
I am making some progress for next alpha version, lot of testing is being made and hopefully next alpha version will be stable enough.
Good progress is being made for the next version, hopefully it's going to be the last alpha version and then we can focus in the first beta version of LibreCoop. Thanks to everyone for the support!
I am already making some small progress with Quake 4, I want to improve more LibreCoop for dhewm3 but I am making some progress here.
There is Survival Game Mode (limited ammount of lives while using si_lives) but I could enable the option of a health pool if people want it as a cvar. And in the next alpha I'll add harder difficulties. By now you have g_fastMonsters 1 and g_damageFactor 1.5 if you want a harder experience.
Thank you for the support and the patience!
Thanks to you and to everyone who had patience to wait. I know this project wasn't active for a long while, so I offer my apologize for it.
WARNING: couldn't load mod-specific librecoop.so, defaulting to base game's library!
Seems that for some reason librecoop.so (the game logic) is not loading for you. Since you are using raspeberry, I wonder if you compiled the code by yourself or you are using this binaries I uploaded?. I compiled this using ubuntu 18.04 64 bits, but maybe you would need to compile this again manually?
This is the alpha 1.1 source code: Github.com
Thanks you for making this coop mod!. I have so many good memories from childhood and with friends because this mod you made. So thanks you a lot, really.
Till this day I don't remember a single game giving to me the ammount of fun I got with LMS4 coop mod.
Are you using dhewm3 source port? becausethis is for Dhewm3 source port
Github.com
This is NOT for Doom 3 steam version.
In case you are having problems while actually using Dhem3 let me know.
IMPORTANT: Updated to fix a clientside crash. If you downloaded the file before this comment was made, then download this file again.
Oh yes, I would appreciate that.
I accept help in the following areas:
- Programming: (via pull requests at github, I don't accept collab yet)
- Testing
- Mapping (for example, doing the work to make some maps to work in coop and/or improve the existing ones)
This is yet probably the best coop mod for Doom 3 ever released.
That is a good question, and it is something I would wish to do, I need to feel a bit less lazy to actually do all the work of porting librecoop to Quake 4.
Important: This is a first alpha release, ROE Campaign was barely tested. If you all wish this mod to improve it will help a lot if you can report bugs and stuff here or at the github website.
HOLY ****! Ivan_the_B is back!, the machine itself!
Librecoop itself does not include modified maps for coop. But I added the posibility to download the Opencoop 2.0 maps from the addon section. I don't include these inside the original mod because I don't own these maps. So yo play the campaing maps you need to download the OpenCoop 2.0 maps for Librecoop addon. And it is planned to allow the players to play the original campaign and ROE campaign too. I will recommend everyone to wait for the first alpha release, the tech demos are mostly for people who only wants to help with testing
Thanks!, sorry for stopping working with this. I am back with some good improvements, probably first alpha version is not that far away :)
The code, with some bit of extra work, could be ported to Quake 4. I am pretty sure about that.
I am not sure about Prey since I never took a look into the SDK.
