BE v3.37 works perfectly for me with 4.10. In fact, it should work with any GZ >= 4.8, including the current developpement version (V4.11, not yet released). Either you are using the BE Legacy, or you are loading v3.37 with other (conflicting) mods. In both cases, no compatibility can be garanteed and you are on your own.
Hi magutierrez2806, good to know BE is working for you now ! The "map" you see at the begining is just a TITLEMAP included in BE, which goal is only to make a animated intro behind the menus, it is not a playable map.
Beside this, BE do not provide additional maps, you must bring your own WAD or PK3 together with BE to play with it.
Beware though, WADs that modify the monsters or do a lot of customization will likely not work with BE because of conflicts.
Still, personnaly I load BE first, THEN the WAD, so that the WAD has priority over BE in case of conflicts, and it work best most of the time.
I've no idea, I've never used Reshade.
Thank you for your kind words. To be fair, we must also thank the small modding "scene" around BE that complement the mod well : Neural Upscale, alternative sounds ...etc. Hope you have fun with BE !
There is no real manual to document all the features, but you can read the Changelog (in reverse :) to inform yourself a bit.
Roughly BE is Brutal Doom at its core : Alt-Fires, Flashlight, Grenades, Flamethrowers...etc., Quick and fist moves (which also execute Glory Kills) but also Burst Fire specific to BE so don't forget to configure your keyboard properly : Vivisection > (standard GZDoom options list)
On the options side, the are indeed less configuration than Brutal Doom V21, so don't hesitate to go to Black Tractate > Black Edition options, there are not that many of them.
Finally, don't skip the FATUM menu to customize your gameplay further.

This is intentional. If you want precision, fire precisely : that is, use Alt-Fire. Same principles applies to Shotgun and Rifle.
BESounds.wad overrides the other sounds, and it is intended because they are rework of the old sounds. Cleaning the duplicate old sounds definitions and merging sounds has been considered once, but never completed because of the risk of breaking the mod by mistake.
No it won't. BDv20 may be the base of Black Edition, but lots of specific optimizations were added and so much changes that now BDv20 could be the grand-father of BE. However, since Black Edition has much richer effects and such than BD it remains indeed slower than its ancestor (or v21) sometimes. This is the price to pay, BE cannot really be made any faster than it is now.
First, thanks for your bug reports ! In the particular case of the 'alternative hud bugs' we are not going to do anything about it, because there is already a dedicated HUD for BE :) so it is not worth the effort for us.

No, this is GZDoom 4.50+ exclusive. This is not garanted to work with LZDoom. And it is not compatible with Zandronium, and never will be because it uses Zscript and all the most recent GZDoom additions.
It uses the lastest changes of GZDoom v4.5, so no garantee LZDoom will work.
No need to apologize :) The mod heavily uses Zscript, which is GZDoom exclusive. In addition, GZDoom often make important changes which need the mod to be adapted accordingly : that is why the current mod version is only fo the latest GZDoom 4.5 version. Even the previous 4.4+ version no longer works with the current mod.
It runs ONLY on GZDoom latest version, now 4.50.

It is intended. With the Stamina system, runing all the time quickly lead to be out-of-breath and not being able to run at all. Then the monsters get you.

This description is misleading, I'll change it in a next update. It fact it only controls the red blood dripping on the screen when HP < 25. On the other hand, the blur and out-of-focus effects on low HP are always on.

The Fatum > Veteran disables the whole Glory Kills, including the flashing. There is no way to disable just the flashing.

Descent to hell > FATUM then pick your choices. Disabling stamina is "Unstoppable". There are tooltips to explain what tweaks does what.
Yes, it is a bug apparently specific to TNT Evilition that was encountered before, but it is very rare. Maybe it is related to the fact that it is an IWAD that loads BEFORE Black Edition, contrary to classic wads. Who knows ? Nothing that we can do as it works in 99.99% of the other cases for other wads.
About the "slow" movement, it is intended. In Descent To Hell > FATUM there are tweaks to disable this realism and restore the classic Doom speed.
Also, you version is too old, you apparently run v3.1d. Please update to the latest version, it may work better for your case.
Ah, but those "inopportune moments" is all the spice of Demon Soul management ! The point is, you don't control it directly you can only choose to pick up or not a Demon Soul to go slower or faster to the 66 soul count, and this way try time it when an important incounter is happening.
This is perfectly intended. After DemonMorph, everything burns up and you go back to 100 HP only.
