Thanks so much! I haven't heard from the programmer in a while so weapon sway might just stay extreme unfortunately. I kinda like it. I will need to fix the picking up the artifact thing.
somewhat- the guns will be the same, but the game is played from the perspective of 2 different people, one of whom will have different arms/animate differently.
I have also considered adding a sniper and a magnum/revolver of some kind. There is an easter egg "thot destroyer" bazooka i made for tactical thot exterminators in it but nowhere to pick it up.

Thank you! That's what I'm hoping it will be, at least it is for me already, though fair warning, a lot of the "tactical shooter" elements loved by NT fans are not present here. The world, lore and aesthetic is very NEOTOKYO, but the gameplay's more similar to the previous episodes in the Kshatriya series, though much more polished and running at triple the frame rate, with 99.99% less crashes.
I appreciate your comment, I just like the process of using the source engine better. I have experience animating and working with UE for commercial projects and I have found it to be bloated, user unfriendly, an uninviting UI, and generally having too much feature functionality to be reasonably understood by a solo dev with no programming experience like myself.
coming from FPS creator, I was always looking for a tool where I could make a fun single player FPS game with no coding (and no spending hundreds of dollars on game templates in an asset store)
I was also never a big fan of setting up logic with spaghetti nodes or "blueprints" as they are called. source's IO is much better.
Lastly, for whatever reason, I've always enjoyed the look more from source games than from unreal. it seems like source, despite graphical limitations, creates an image with a "realistic" style, where as most UE stuff I see falls beyond into the "hyperreal" category.
So, personal tastes

sorry you feel that way, I was completely happy with the performances of both my voice actors, and will absolutely be using them for the final game so long as they are up for it. hopefully we can get the voice actor for "katsu" (wolf) a better mic setup.

The ADS option has been improved slightly since the video with the idle sway and jiggle being removed when aiming to keep the crosshair centered. however, to make sure that full auto ADS spray doesnt become OP, auto fire while aiming will not be made too easy.
however, for the katsu character, auto fire is planned be made slightly easier, and aiming more effective, mostly due to different animations for each character.

We will be providing a better mic to the voice actor for Katsu. the voice actors, at this point, are not going to change as I was highly satisfied with both of their work from an acting standpoint.

we cannot just use the songs straight from the NT OST. even if we could, I don't want to, as they don't fit the much less "tactical shooter/slow paced" vibe of this game
damn i have noticed for some there is crashing problems, can't recreate them because i'm not sure what exactly causes them. one of the crashes with the weird error message is a mapbase issue though.
