Dev Blog #3: Multiplayer

Multiplayer is up and running! We have been working hard in developing netcode that suits fast-paced physics driven action. After numerous hard decisions and trade-offs we were finally able to deliver a VR multiplayer experience that will bring fresh gameplay mechanics to the VR gaming universe. We are planning in adding numerous game modes such as deathmatch, team deathmatch, race, king of the hill, capture the flag, (maybe a berserker mode where one of the player controls that huge statue boss? :) ). In its current state, only deathmatch is available and it consists in a free for all battle in which players will fly within the map and kill each other with an arsenal of weapons ranging from energy spheres and beams to javelins.

To prove we're not lying, we made a small montage of two players fighting on a local network connection, one with the oculus and one with the vive.
