Who is this game for?

Astral Flux was designed for players seeking a moderate challenge. There are no checkpoints and death is permanent, so learning the mechanics, enemies patterns, etc. is key to progressing. For most players, we expect this will take between 2 and 5 hours.

The game features some roguelike/lite elements, such as procedurally generated levels and permadeath, but this is not a full roguelike. There is currently one main game progress route, and no meta-progression, thus you can expect an experience similar to a challenging action platformer.
