I have started a new Patreon page to help support the development of Dark Flame. With this being said, I also removed all of my old Downloads as well. Not to fear - you can still play them as I have allowed Patreon supporters to keep receiving newer works of progress!
I want to thank everybody who has supported Dark Flame on IndieDB thus far, but I will most likely be focusing most of my updates on my official website, Twitter, or Patreon.
Here are my links:
Thank you again for your support!

Your game is as fun as it is challenging. Nice work!
Thanks Jonathan!
hey warren. played the recently released alpha. you have given it a great deal more polish, I like the environment effects as well. in the next release new enemies/weapon types? also I looked through the precompilation, will it be possible to modify resources after unpacking? so far I haven't figured out the install location so I cant test for myself. your animation and map formats are pretty solid. this is drakorex/sam Clarke btw.
Thanks for the comment, Sam! The newest demo on here is a pretty old one - I've done quite a bit of work since then but I won't be putting newer builds on here anymore. I'm still working to get this game finished though ;)
Hey, the game looks really cool! Will you be needing any music for it?
Hello Sbeast and thanks for the compliment! I already have a composer and SFX guy for this project, Sorry!
Hello I am have tried your demo and Im loving it. I am a huge fan of Castlevania and the Souls series, so putting them together is a genius idea. I am a current student studying Game Programming and was wondering if you needed any game testers? Also I was wondering with your permission if I could show off/promote this game on my YouTube channel and get you some exposure out there.
Hey Gungrave reference?
I'm glad you liked the demo! I'm always looking for feedback so the more testers the better ;)
Send me an email - WarrenSmith@DarkFlameGame.com
Also, you're more than welcome to show off the game! I'm about to release a new update to this demo.
